Yorba Linda Architect
The city of Yorba Linda sits in the North-East corner of Orange County bordering San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. It was founded in 1907 and incorporated in 1967. Its current population is over 60,000 residents. Yorba Linda is primarily a residential community with a high percentage of single family home neighborhoods and is known most for being the birth place of president Richard Nixon.
The architecture of Yorba Linda is resembles that of modern day suburban tract housing. Older neighborhoods of ranch style homes built in the 60s and 70s gives way to larger luxury modern homes on the fringes of the city in the hill areas. There is a small, older downtown district, but it has no real architectural significance. In recent years most commercial development has been built along the Santa Ana river / 91 Freeway corridor at Savi Ranch. Yorba Linda is also home to the Richard Nixon Library.
